Cow Parade comes to Belfast and Derry this summer.

I saw this in Prague a few years back. I hadn't a clue what it was at the time and assumed it was some purely local exhibition dreamt up by mad Czechs and only later discovered it was an international event. It was pretty amusing though. DUP and Sinn Fein branded 'silly moos' over £35,000 cow parade - Northern Ireland, Local & National - Belfasttelegraph.co.uk

The Cow Parade, one of the world’s biggest and most popular public art exhibitions, will see dozens of life-size plastic painted cows being placed at different locations across Belfast and Londonderry.

CowParade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

CowParade is an international public art exhibit that has been featured in major world cities. Fiberglass sculptures of cows are decorated by local artists, and distributed over the city centre, in public places such as train stations, important avenues, and parks. They often feature artwork and designs specific to local culture, as well as city life and other relevant themes. After the exhibition in the city, which lasts many months, the cows are auctioned off and the proceeds donated to charity.

Now is the time to have fun and discover your creative side. Let's have your ideas.

This image could do with an upgrade for starters!

A Belfast man decided to go for a Sunday drive in the Antrim glens when his car broke down. As he was looking under the bonnet trying to find the problem he heard a voice from over the hedge say "Check your radiator." When he looked up he saw a cow looking intently at him. "Check your radiator." said the cow for a second time. The man could not contain his amazement and decided to run up to the nearby farmhouse and knocked on the door, intent on finding another witness to this astonishing phenomenon. "There's a talking cow down the road who's just given me advice about how to fix my car" he blurted out, when the farmer answered the door. The farmer calmly looked out and glanced at the field below. "The white cow with two big black marks on the sides?" the farmer asked slowly. "Yes! That's the one!" the excited man responded. "Oh, that's just Daisy," the farmer said, "I wouldn't pay any attention to her. She hasn't a clue about mechanics."
