The Shankill Butchers were not sectarian killers after all!

UTV News - Family sue police over Shankill butchers

Well, that's according to this UTV story. It tells us the Shankill Butchers "stalked the streets at night and preyed on those who were alone and vulnerable - both Catholics and Protestants." Ah well, that clears that up then. The story also tells us that while Murphy was murdered "... two other players were never prosecuted." Players! What positions did they play? What a crass, insensitive and inaccurate piece of reportage.

It's odd the way UTV dealt with this story in that they showed the filmed piece, then didn't have anyone in to discuss it, and just moved to the next item after about 15 minutes.

I concur sir, lousy insenitive reportage, hope the families of the many victims did not read it.
