Those in Donegal on the other hand were quite happy to build all sorts of houses anywhere people took the notion.

Sinn Fein made no objection that I noticed and they like to claim about being the biggest party in Belfast. Republicans burnt out the foreigners and SF were licking their lips at expanding their ghetto on the lower Ormeau with increased nationalist vote in south Belfast. Green spaces, shared spaces, non-prod spaces etc don't matter a damn when the shinners smell votes, expansion and power. Oh there's something wrong alright in Belfast regarding this but its ridiculous a SF apologist (in all likelihood an activist of some description) would be taking the moral high ground on the situation.

Another bile filled post from Ray. You're increasingly going off the deep end, though responding to factual would certainly explain some of that anger.

    Hello,

I wish to have my say in the obsurd inclusion of Malone, Upper Malone, Finaghy &
Windsor into West Belfast Westminster Ward.
This area is naturally, culturally, geographically and socially linked into the boundaries of
the M1 Motorway and the River Lagan, The areas of Botanic and stranmillis included.
By splitting these areas the representation of the middle class society in these areas will
be broken down with the vastly working class representation of West Belfast which is
whoely different in structure to the traditional South Belfast. South Belfast has more in
kin with East Belfast as a prospoerous middle class area, with parts such as Carryduff,
Four Winds, Ravenhill, Ormeau etc than that of Falls, Andersonstown etc.

Please let me know how I can make my feelings heard at a greater level.
    Thank you,
    Kind regards,
    Carl

Splitting south Belfast is worth it just to annoy prats like that. God forbid he'd share a constituency with the great unwashed!
    Priceless lol

More like Gerry Kelly is coming a bit too close to Deputy Dawds in N Belfast elections. I couldn't see Nelson or Nigel volunteering to live in this integrated' housing scheme.

It is not fair and it will lead to an east west split with nothing for unionists at all. As far as i can see the new boundaries are not at an advantage to unionists at all. It is obvious this is gerrymandering on their part. Especially since cookstown is well over 50 miles away and north antrim is only 5 miles away. Infact looking at google maps parts of belfast and east antrim are closer to cookstown than me.I would suggest that they do their boundaries on their new councils.
So you're implying the Boundary Commission should frame constituencies to advantage unionists specifically. Just as well you're not claiming to be a democrat.

Ignore frosty. Even his fellow unionists don't take him seriously.
