The two partitionist states have been a complete failure. British rule has been a complete failure. The Free State has been a complete failure. Is it not time to do away with once and for all the two partitionist institution's foisted onto the people of the this country, un-democratically I might add, under the threat of immediate and terrible war.
The 'Unionist' fears of being landed in a 32-County Free State are as troubling as 'Nationalist' fears of remaining under British Rule. Their is a moral responsibility on the English Government, the culprit of this mess "through ethnic cleansing and plantations", to face it's responsibilities and declare a timely withdrawal from Ireland, weather in five, ten, fifteen years, a date and a time would be a good start.
Then lets bring all traditions together under national assembly, and work out the kind off country we want, without foreign dominance. The English interference and manipulation of the Irish people 'Unionist and Nationalist' must end. History has thought us, indeed, recent incidences have shown us there will be no peace otherwise.
True Republicans (which PSF are not) do not want a 32-County Free State, we want preferable a federal solution along the line of the Éire Nua programme, this way the provinces can exercise real power, this poses another question: Are those who have vested interests in the centralized partitionist system prepared to give up the power that come with it, probably not, but the people of this country, particularly our youth deserve a better, fairer and more humane society than that which we been born into.
A sovereign Ireland at the end of the day could be mutually beneficial for Ireland and England, far more so than at present. A real vote on independence can only be exercised by a sovereign people, but sovereignty cannot be practiced if English dominance is consolidated. This will only prolong the misery of imperialism and partition. But with England still engaged in imperialist wars elsewhere we can forget about such understanding and generosity. They will, it seems, no matter what, always try too turn and manipulate circumstances to there advantage.

Does anyone have a viable alternative to partition, that is fair and equitable, that would look out for and protect the people by vesting in them a level of autonomy in their respective regions so that political parties regardless of who they are, do not have all the power, because so long as one party (two in coalition) can have power then imperialism will take hold no matter what. Sovereignty, undiluted, can only be vested in the people, take it away from them and whats left, what we have, and is this a sovereign nation?
If your reading this and you consider yourself a republican and are banking on Adams and MacGuinness to succeed where so many have failed in the past, then I suggest you get to grips with reality, because there is a very real chance that they will fail, that imperialism will triumph and that the British influence will continue in this country.
Where does that leave us then, will we settle for British rule, will we settle for British rule and still stand over the graves of our patriot dead and pay hypocritical homage at the shrine of the freedom who's cause we had betrayed. Or will we work to bring down the sectarian institions and foreign occupation that exists in our country.
