Indeed ,we should "move on ,it's all in the past ,thats ancient history" etc etc etc and then from the same mouths "800 years of oppression, unionist misrule, civil rights, bloody Sunday,Pat Finucane etc etc .

The truth is I actually believe they don't see the ironic ,hypocrisy that they spew on a daily basis.

One could start a a thread about Jordan's left titty being nicer than her right one and it would still turn in to the usual circular bolix.

    BTW, they are both crap

Do you ever face the same problem?
What's the problem? James Joyce does that sort of thing and he's hailed as a genius! People spend whole careers analysing this stream of conciousness thing. Just go with the flow and enjoy the ride dude!

I can't say I face this problem Sir. May I ask why you read my previous posts? I was nevertheless touched by what you said

If I am replying to a poster that I do not recognise, I usually have a quick look through his or her previous posts. I find it helps me understand their basic point of view and reduces the number of times I misunderstand a post. In your case, I came across your remarks about the difficulties you had with your girl-friends father, which did indeed help me put your remarks in context.

The forum software has the functionality to enable us to easily look at each other previous posts. This suggests I would not be the only person to find it useful. If it comes across as prying, then I could restrict myself to looking at the last couple of days of post, or even stop looking - it is no big deal to me.

My overall aim is not to persuade anyone (people very rarely change their minds), but to have an enjoyable discussion with the other posters, in such a way that we might together do just a little to reduce animosities in Northern Ireland, which is now my family's home, where my children are growing up.
