In my opinion, not true. Also, please think about your reaction if you read a similarly untrue statement "Nationalists only condemned PIRA killings when the victims were Catholic." We are people like you. We have the same reactions to blanket accusations of our whole community. Incidently, what is the word for such generalisations?
Well many unionists have ' form ' for it ( and not just the DUP, wasn't Lord Trimble and the Rev Martin Smyth for example invovled with Ulster Vanguard in the 70's ? )

It would be fair enough to say "many Unionist politicians". The original phrasing "Unionists" came across as applying the statement to the whole Unionist population. I guess that wasn't the intention.
