I've only recently found out that there was a number of old martial arts native to Ireland including stick (shillelagh) fighting, shin kicking and different wrestling styles. It's a pity they were lost through time.
I think collar and elbow actually survived longest in America. But yes it is a pity. I'm a big fan of western wrestling.

MI6 handlers all support cricket now- seeing as no dissident has ever killed a cop or brit soldier in Derry i cant see the bold Martin worry to much about what you say-another dissident brit lover springs to mind- Howzs-that-

It is amazing that the English took to this sport of their French conquerors so well as it is a boring spectacle - maybe it is part of the servile mindset that the culture of your oppressor is better than your own, which is perhaps also an explanation of MMcG interest.

    Yawn.

Another Über-Republican throwing about accusations of collaboration. Any evidence to back up your MI6 statement? Or are you just another angry wee wannabe?

Sure must have been the throwing action that got to Martin and how it could be adapted or adopted to throw the odd grenade.

Cricket is one of those games that is better enjoyed when playing rather than watching. Terribly dull as an exhibition game but great fun when playing.
