The vast majority of unionists see no difference between SF and IRA or IRA and SF.

Who knows anything of the history of this lady? It's very easy to sneer at the intemperate language but did Ms Lees lose anyone close to her in the Troubles? Are the SF representatives that she sits with at Council meetings reconstructed IRA?

I suppose we all have to forgive and forget what SF/IRA did to our community, or risk being branded bigots, but, vernacular aside, I'm with Ms Lees.

You didn't go out with any women from Cookstown, did you? They sound like a gentle bunch.

I've seen her photo on the cookstown council site.

The shinners need to dry their eyes and count their blessings.

Members of Unionist parties were members of the British Army. The British Army killed many people from my community. Going by your logic Sinn Fein and the SDLP should have nothing to do with Unionists?

Hmmm. I'm fairly sure James Molyneaux did not sit on the Chiefs of Staff Committee.

There is no moral equivalence between the IRA and the British Army.

Your opinion is no better than an Irish Republicans opinion. You will of course think otherwise, which is your right.

    This place is priceless.
Maybe the penny will drop one day and Republicans will accept that Sinn Fein is a tainted organisation that will never be accepted by the Unionist community.
