    It looks for all the world as though they don't fancy going north of the border and will come up with whatever reason they can find. But Derry is deprived and could use the economic benefit this would bring.

    So the dissos were going to bomb the Fleadh if it came to Derry? As if. They're stupid but they aren't that stupid.

    It's hard to get away from the thought that this is far more to do with the use of the "UK capital of culture". In which case it comes across as absolutely pathetic.

    These guys have never held it north of the border - does not this make you think they are anti-northern?

    Well even the country branches in County Derry were against it being held in Derry. What was their objection?
