Of course not, but I don't for a second believe that SF would view themselves as willing officers of Her Majesty, though technically it may be the case, anymore than a nationalist Quebec Prime Minister would, despite the fact that we are all subjects of the crown.
Any nationalist Quebec PM bowing to the Queen would be metaphorically lynched and very probably put out of office at the next election. I don't think SF voters would view the situation much differently, though of course, I could be wrong.

Cruimh as usual cuts to the core. We are discussing the Martin MCGs & P Robinsons & First Ministers & Deputy First Ministers as if they are the ultimate players on this island. Lets get things into perspective. NI is a province, a protectorate, a propped up project in conflict resolution, a fudge built on hope and tentherhooks, a failed entity pumped with us & uk money to keep it afloat, an embarrasment to the UK, etc.etc.. So Martin McGuinness's views on whether or not he will kiss "the" queens arse or not may be interesting tit bit magazine stuff at best but it is irrelevent in reality as far as the South is concerned.. Eire/Ireland is a sovereign country, a member state of the EU who happens to share a border with this "province". Mr McGuinness' candiature for the Arus did not confer any extra status on him or strengthen his much beloved " mandate" to speak for the Irish people - despite what he might want us to believe. So please remember, Martin is one part of one group of "reformed" murderers who claim to represent a small number of people who have little or nothing in common and who want to have nothing in common with Southern Ireland. So, puff away Martin, blow the house down ("blow" as in the Three Little Piggies - I know you would never be involved in any other kind!)
