I recognise the NI team and supporters have moved on a lot from those bad old days but there's no point trying to pretend they never happened.

I don't pretend there was no sectarian chants at games but it is wrong to make things up. It is also wrong to describe NI fans as being like that now or for quite some time, and it's wrong to tar everyone with the same broad brush because of the actions of a small minority.

I never seen the full play but I don't think there was any mention of Republic fans lives' being in danger. I think the depiction of that match revolved around the crowd chanting "Greysteel Seven, Ireland Nil", which did happen. And I don't think it's something that should be airbrushed or dismissed either.

The chanting you are claiming "did happen" ,did not happen therefore you are a liar.You have portrayed something as a fact ,which is a lie ,with nothing whatsoever to back it up.
