Sinn Féin unveil Uniting Ireland conference in Derry 28 Jan: An Inclusive Future

Sinn Féin have unveiled the latest venue for the Uniting Ireland workship: Derry.

Sinn Féin aim to hold one of these workshops in each of Ireland's 32 counties.

Speakers to be confirmed but at recent workshops unionists have been present and speaking. For example, the UUP's John McCallister.

The theme is An Inclusive Future so it is to be expected that Uninoists and ethnic minorities will be invited.

The mission statement of the Uniting Ireland campaign is here:

The idea is to facilitate discussion - nothing bad about that.

actually i think this is more about 'look we still pretend a UI will happen', also one would think for such an important policy the speakers would be confirmed, is it to far from the holiday homes?

No if this was aimed at their own flock it would be odes to their "liberation struggle".

Its for Guardian readers in England and lefty liberals in Dublin who are attracted by some of what SF come out with but feel uncomfy with anything sectarian.
