    "Socialism, republicanism for all"

Sinn Féin does not advocate Socialism. It offers the electorate ‘progressive policies’ and ‘rights’ for everyone – what about the right to self-determination ye bollocks?!

In general I support Sinn Fein's peace strategy,it is certainly better than people being murdered or blown to bits because they are Irish, British, Catholic, Protestant, Unionist, Republican etc. However I could not resist writing this little poem for them from their erstwhile comrades.

    THE MISUNDERSTANDING

    We haven't really sold out
    It really isn't true
Those lessons that are doled out
    by that rebellious crew
    are made to mystify
the likes of me and you
but we haven't really sold out
I'm sure you know it's true

    We really love our country
    You know our words correct
    We hope for peaceful progress
    but feel you can't connect
    our actions with our statements
and all that we hold true
but we haven't really sold out
Now would we lie to you?
