    Ex-orangeman loses sectarian murder appeal.

A former senior Orangeman has lost an appeal against a conviction for the 2001 murder of a Protestant man he thought was a Catholic.
Speers,a former Orange Order district master was a dominant figure who encouraged younger people and then lied to exclude himself.

Here I remember that case; Speers was also a prominent UDA member. The fella he helped kill was beaten to death on the Hightown Road in Glengormley.

As Speers has now lost his appeal, is it not high time that the Orange Order expel him?

I'd say he'll get a mural right next to Bliiy Write and Michael Stone.

This is good news. There are now enough good non-Unionist lawyers in the "
Here" justice system to ensure that the previously obviously innocent will in future be found uterly guilty.

Well they can take comfort in the fact that the victims name wont end up ontop of the loyalist bonfires this year.
That spot is exclusively reserved for catholic victims.

The organisation is better without him and others like him.

They should go back and remember what they agreed to when joining the organisation.
