They were more than allowed to 'run riot'. SB actively prevented CID from bringing them to justice. Mount Vernon UVF killed innocent people, Protestant and Catholic. They did not kill republicans.

'Murky' would be an understatement. The RUC and Military Intelligence were party to murder on a widescale.

If you argue that it was not as consistently systematic as some say why do you also say nothing would really surprise you?

    Something similar happened before Greysteel.

Two guns, one a rifle, were found near a river by anglers who notified police. But the weapons were not recovered. SDLP MLA John Dallat claims he was contacted anonymously by a security force member who claimed a RUC special branch officer moved the weapons to protect Torrens Knight. It is believed the rifle was used at Greysteel

Several more ex-FRU agents are trying to publish documents and they allegedly have been getting death threats from very senior army personnel and security forces staff. They are trying to publish how the details of innocent targets were passed on to 22 SAS for 'executive action' i.e. shoot to kill death squads.A 3rd ex-fru member samuel rosenfeld,is still pursuing his case as listed below.
