It's Gay Pride tomorrow in Belfast. I'll be there. I wonder will this be mentioned?

I think the difference in relation to equal treatment isn't so much evident on either side of the border so much as it is in City v Country.

Belfast is as metro as I've ever come across, I really find it hard to pick the gays from the not so gays... Dublin isn't far behind.

I think you have a point there.

Homosexuals should bring their pride parades to rural towns. No one gives a monkeys anymore in cities. Everything goes.

I wonder what would happen if they tried to parade past Ardoyne shops.

The parade should continue undisturbed unless the shops stock Gucci.

Both words in the sense that you are using them here have for long been interchangable...Why? Because gender is not an essentially "social construct" or something purely biological....Male and female differ from each other for more than reasons of social construction...There are psychic differences between occuring naturally aswell as biological.
