Alot of what in the past has been termed 'republican propaganda' turned out to be true.

Thain, Clegg, Fisher and Wright are the four Brits who did time for murder.

    Maybe it is true.

However, one of those demanding the inquiry is a powerful politician believed to have been responsible for the planning of Bloody Friday, the abduction, torture and murder of Jean McConville, and was arrested following the fire-bombing of the La Mon public house.

I'd say that anyone who wishes to see retired former squaddies investigated for their actions 40 years ago would be equally keen to see the actions of the powerful politician placed under scrutiny.

I must have been naive to imagine the O.P. was interested 'justice' rather than tribal vendettas. I'll know better next time.

Try and get these points into your head. They are very very basic.
The most basic point you utterly fail to grasp is that truth and justice must apply equally to all.

And the most powerful and influential person who has never come clean on what he was responsible for during the troubles is the leader of Sinn Fein, Gerry Adams.

I have little doubt the British Government has sufficient evidence to link him and other prominent republicans with a number of crimes. He has not faced either investigation or prosecution over the past 30 years, as his remaining leader of Sinn Fein has been thought vital for the peace process.

Not to mention questions about the DFM and Claudy, the Hegarty Murder and Enniskillen.

Aye, but at least MMG has admitted at least being a member.

I suggest any member of the security services suspected of any crime simply take the Adams line.

The last few elections have proved that the sensible people of the North all want to move forward, There has been no advancement for the likes of Jim Allister on one side or the people on the other side who want to go back to killing again, The Saville inquiry exposed the British army for the murder of innocent people which was covered up for many years in complete denial of witnesses, Gerry Adams, Martin McGuinness, Paisley, Robinson and John Hume in the early stages worked hard for many years for what is there today.
The electorate have given a wonderful mandate to Sinn Fein increasing the number of Assembly seats at each election, The electorate of both communities support the progress that is been made, this will continue, the people who want to go back killing have been told there is no part for them in a future society, as for the people who use smear when they have nothing better to show, they can continue to rant and rave to their hearts content, nobody ever gave them any heed anyway, They have nothing to add to the future,

Been no advance for SF either - their vote fell between 2005 and 2010

Sorry to inform you that Sinn Fein make progress at each Assembly election, after the next two elections, maybe the next one, Sinn Fein will be the largest party in the North. That is just amazing progress for both Adams and McGuinness all with the support of the electorate. That is where the power and the future lies. not in fantasy land and a world of untrue smears. Fermanagh South Tyrone proved S.F.is on forward march and can take on anyone at the ballot box.

The vote fell, but the percentage increased.

All Northern political partied are losing votes as voter turnout decreases to UK & ROI levels.
