British Citizen - are you NUTS, you must be to even suggest that this story is anything but the typical English ******************** we have to deal with - What were those Orange Idiots doing when the Irishman passed by, but playing provocative music intended to incite voilence itself

So get a grip - what a crock of justice this has been - I for one would applaud the man who did it and suggest until those Orange twits stop playing that ********************e music - otherwise get over your sensitivities because you cant have it both ways

Typical of nationalists - trying to goad a violent reaction from law abiding religious marchers.
This is about as ridiculous as it gets, nothing like the Orange Order to get offended by a Irishman playing his rebel songs and have him charged, whilst they were in fact marching through his homeland, playing their rebel songs - but he didnt get offended, he just fought music with music - and his music was voted the best rebel song in the world - dont hear anyone listening to Orange Music (GAY)

You mentioned sectarian marches in Ardoyne, and I countered with a point about Ardoyne. Your point about sectarian marches was ignorant of the point that Ardoyne used to be demographically mixed thus the tradition of marching isn't purely sectarian.

I'm taking bets on how long until 'irish melbourne' gets banned.

Anyone want 2 days or 5 days? All the others are gone already.

What's he even doing on here when he's in sunny Australia? Should he not be out chasing girls in bikinis along a beach or something???

Yeah so why are you so worried about being in a United Ireland? A large amount of people in the Republic share your views. This is a result of thirty years of liberal media mind programming which ensured that all we ever heard about was how evil the IRA were- but little about Loyalist paramilitaries. Same with the newspapers, all anti-Republican. Since the eighties, our educational system has distilled Cruise O Brien's perverted views. Together with your liberal allies, you would have a good chance of dominating the political scene here in a future U I. Personally, I wouldn't want a U I until a majority of unionists agree to it, which doesn't seem likely any time in the near future.

In a book called The Craic, Mark McCrumm, an English writer descended from northern Protestant stock, describes a meeting with Loyalist paramilitaries. He asks them why they are so against a united Ireland and they replied that they were against it because if it became a reality they wouldn't survive more than a few weeks in it. They would be hunted down and killed! They seriously believed that (book came out around 1998)! Absolutey bat-sh*t crazy. Do they really believe that Britain is protecting them? The British couldn't stop violence for thirty years. Loyalists / Unionists have nothing to fear from the south, they have a majority in the north and both sides are moving forwards in any case.

Very true my friend. I wish some others on this site accepted that reality and worked on improving Northern Ireland for both communities instead of constantly undermining the country which ensures everyone suffers economically/socially/etc/etc.

Your wisest post yet! Sure I'd rather be chasing girls in bikinis down an Australian beach than posting here!
