    Strange.

The Tudor dynasty is generally believed to have been of Welsh origin.

That's twice the Welsh conquered Ireland then. Good job we beat them at the rugby!

They were also responsible for the partition of Ireland, Lloyd-George being Prime Minister at the time.

I think I understand your POV at last. You're pissed off with Irish nationalists because they're forever crediting England for what was really Welsh devillment.

Welsh origin yes. At the time of the conquest Elizabeth was the queen of England primarily. hence an English conquest

    Few questions on this:

1, If the RUC and UDA/UVF were 'operating in concert to some degree' why wasn't every IRA and INLA terrorist assassinated months after they got involved? Surely it would have been easy to give Special Branch's intelligence over to Loyalists and then ensure there's no security forces in the area while they go to shoot them? Surely the UVF and UDA should have been killing hundreds of Republican activists every year as opposed to killing soft nationalists walking near peace lines?

2, If the RUC and UDA/UVF were 'operating in concert to some degree' why were thousands of Loyalists convicted and sent to jail throughout The Troubles? Surely if all the organisations are singing from the same hymn sheet and have overlapping membership then no Loyalists would have been sent to jail??

3, Are the links between the RUC/PSNI, the OO and UVF/UDA similar to the links between the Gardai, the GAA and, therefore, the IRA/INLA? Exactly the same links can be made as you are portraying in the Unionist community...
