Possible new justice minister describes Bloody Sunday justice as 'Pointless'.

Bloody Sunday, the only atrocity that is ever constantly described as a waste of money.

The relatives of these victims have had their murdered families names blackened with the corrupt widgery report and have constantly had to listen to IRA whataboutery when their innocent unarmed family members murder has been mentioned.

How they cope with these insults for so long is beyond me, to have a family members life degraded in such a fashion for so long must be extremely hard to cope with.

The Alliance have been hiding behind their 'neutral' stance for a long time and have picked up a lot of votes because of it.
Scratch the surface and find that they are far from impartial.

The Bloody Sunday report is not just for Nationalists, it is not a debate between Orange and Green.
In the same way that an inquiry into the death of a black person is not an inquiry for black people.

When state forces kill a citizen of their own state then the people of that state deserve an inquiry.
It doesnt matter what religion they are, what colour they are etc.

Bloody Sunday was a state atrocity against its citizens, it was witnessed by a huge amount of people.

The truth would have cost nothing, the state cover up and refusal to hand over video footage meant that that the cost was immense.

If anyone has an issue with the money spent then it should be directed towards the state and not the victims.

Calling the inquiry 'pointless' is another issue, it implies that justice does not matter , that the people murdered do not matter.

And this man is tipped to be the new justice minister!

BBC News - David Ford apology to families over Saville email

"It's clear in that email I used a clumsy and inappropriate phrase which caused significant offence," he said.

"I have told the families that I regret I caused offence."

Liam Wray, whose brother Jim was killed, said he would not meet the Alliance leader.

He added: "Let me tell Mr Ford that although I am not a great advocate of the inquiry, it certainly was not pointless.

The troubled issue of devolution of policing takes another turn.
