This puts SF as the largest party in the six counties and that is something we saw in the Euro poll.

The drop of 5% might initially be thought a worry though not uncommon for a government party having to take tough chioces in hard times. However, I would argue that come election time Sinn Féin will be able to restore that.

All in all an encouraging poll for Sinn Féin.

Not so implausible when the figures don't add up to 100%.

But that makes the comparison with 2007 a bit dodgy

Strip out those don't knows and there's remarkably little change, apart from the DUP losing support to the TUV and UUP

As far as polls go the Telegraph one is probably the nadir.

Junk poll. Total vote is 86% when it should be 100%, total change is -8% when it should be 0% or maybe +/-1%.

It's a poll, theres no reason to believe that the number of people they polled reflected the divide in Unionism/Nationalism.

Nationalists and especially SF consistantly poll far less than what they get in votes.

this poll might not be precise but it sure is bad news for DUP It shows a loss of support and I think Wilson resigning as councillor to concentrate on Westminister campaign might be highlighting certain jitters!

Looks like the 2007 figures used exclude the undecided - was there an election that year? 2010 figures have 14% undecided.
