So the SDLP should not make an issue out of Sinn Fein shafting them, or they will get hammered, yet they should also stop being so nice or else they will loose out to Sinn Fein

The SDLP are less effective than Sinn Féin. Sinn Féin was the driving force behind the GFA and have - over the course of many years - placed a lot more workers on the ground than the SDLP.

Is swings and roundabouts not the whole point here? I don't see why 'security' should be accorded such ludicrous priority. Put this together with Ian Paisley junior's attempts to end 50/50 recruitment and you get the very strong impression that the Duppers simply don't want papes involved in policing. Which gives lie to all the sanctimonious twaddle they spout as they talk around that particular piece of vindictive bigotry.

The SDLP (and the UUP) need to make up their minds whether they are IN the Executive; or OUT of the Executive. Otherwise voters don't know what they stand for.
