If the UUP continue to oppose the devolution of P & J it could cause Robinson major problems. However it would also severely embarrass the Conservative Party.
The DUP's Monday night rebels have shown that they don't have the bottle for a Stormont election. But will they go along with the deal on the 9th March?

Sinn Fein could not decide one way or another at that time whether to accept them, why would they be prepared to accept them now.
Like I say, seems SF have no appatite for an election at the moment either, it should have been Policing anf Justice devolved, with no side deals or an early election.
The DUP coming from a weaker position, and suppossedly having more to fear from an early election, have essentially got what they wanted. The Parades commision will be gone by the end of the year.

Sinn Féin have to give this idea some consideration. As they won't take their seats at Westminister and probably never will, should they now for tactical reasons remove themselves from Westminister elections thus improving the possibility that other nationalists who will take the seat get elected.
This would neutralise the voting power of Unionists in Westminister and this would have to be a good thing for Nationalists/Republicans.
Bit unfair on SDLP they are entitled to the new minister as the d'hondt system would suggest! Can u imagion if SF or the DUP were entitled to it? we'd never hear the end of it about mandates and democracy and equality!! That is unless the FM & DFM decide to let Justice prevail in giving them the Justice Portfolio!
