[QUOTE]He is cute. I know as I am gay. Don't know if straight men notice these things. Can they tell if a man is cute?[/QUOTE

It sometimes annoys me when men pretend that the simply have no idea if a man is good-looking or not. To listen to some guys, they are unable to tell the difference in attractiveness between David Beckham and Brian Cowan! It's almost as though they are afraid to admit that they can recongise the obvious fact that a man is handsome, because it might somehow imply that they 'fancy' them. Women do not have the same hang-up - I can tell when a woman is good-looking, but it does not of course mean that I fancy them. In fact, it might not even mean that many men fancy them, because a woman's idea of 'good looking' is not neccessarily the same as a man's. But we are getting a tad off topic here...

The running around with cheques was Christmas 2008, and the affair including the cash from the developers was in mid 2008 I believe. The family problems were more recent, but they aren't relevant.

Fair enough, a job is a job, but if he was worried about money, he had a story that he could have sold and what changed recently that made him more financially secure?

While this important story could not have come out without him and his information, there was something pathetic looking about himself and the BBC reporter sitting in the living room poring through mobile phone texts.....

There's an uncanny parallel between Annie Murphy and Kirk here. The former had a brief and disastrous marriage that ended in divorce and her rich Irish-American Catholic daddy thought a spell in the auld sod would help her recover, so he asked his old pal Bishop Eamon Casey to take care of her. And boy, did he ever!

Same with Kirk's butcher daddy, who asked Iris to take care of his son. Can't really blame Kirk for getting the leg over Iris when the opportunity presented itself; she had plenty of (taxpayers') money to spend on botox, facials, fancy clothes and expensive perfumes, and at that age any normal young man would ride a she whelk anyway.

She really screwed it for Peter, though, and probably for his party as well. If he had to choose a request to play for Kirk. I'm betting that this is the piece he'd choose:

If only Iris had kept *her* tags closed...

    (I'll get my coat....)
Mr Gormley described calls for the resignation of his cabinet colleague as "absolute nonsense". He said Mr Lenihan was doing "a very good job under exceptionally difficult circumstances".

because a woman's idea of 'good looking' is not neccessarily the same as a man's
A woman is attracted to a man who is in touch with her emotions and feelings.
Obviously Iris was all alone with her husband so busy and when a young man showed her a little care and attention she couldn't help herself.
I feel sorry for her really.

Yeah right...... She loved young Kirk for his emotional intelligence.....Any woman can see that that was Kirk's appeal.....
