    She has made very high profile interventions as to how people, sexually, should live their lives according to the Gospel. Those same standards would appear not to have applied to her in her private life.

    There really, to my mind, is no comparable high profile politician in the Republic that would be so vocal and therefore the situation would probably not be too serious here. On the other hand if Senator Mullen, for instance, was discovered shagging his secretary, being the public Catholic legislator he is, then that would be of public interest.

    The person has done just that. Most recently, regarding the child abuse scandals.

    Got a stressed phonecall from someone there asking about this thread, from what I've been told, there's some sensational stuff going on that's going to kick off.

    But I don't think Robinson will be staying on as First Minister, not after this.
