I was more struck by the DUP statement leaving Iris pointedly out of their call for supporting her husband and lauding his political contribution. That didn't suggest a forgive and forget attitude. It's a very long time since I lived north of the border. Do "religious" values still mean something to the community as a whole or is the fundamentalism confined to the DUP?

Michael Paterson was the 'independent' consultant Psychologist on BBC News tonight sympathising with Iris and other politicians being in the limelight.

BBC however didn't mention that he is a director of TMR Health Professionals.

According to www.trauma-stress.co.uk the other director is Dr Paul Miller - Iris' lovely psychiatrist who turns gays!
