But in what context did her comments about homosexuals arise? I haven't heard the whole interview but from what I know, Iris was responding to questions put to her. How did the subject even come up? Did she 'engineer' the conversation so as to give rise to the questions about gays?
Was she even in London when Peter was being made first minister?
She didnt engineer the conversation but she decided to phone the Nolan Show to comment.
That was her own decision, no-one made her.
Think about it, if your partner was having the biggest day of their life, why would you be phoning some radio show to put across extremely controversial comments?
The (limited) TV footage I've seen of him on the day seems to suggest he was alone. Was she even in London when Peter was being made first minister?
So what you're saying is that Iris wasn't being interviewed as such, but simply called a phone-in chat show with her comments? I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I thought it was a formal interview. She didnt engineer the conversation but she decided to phone the Nolan Show to comment.
Yeah, it is a bit odd. But maybe the lord told her to do it, homosexuality being an 'abomination' and all that.Think about it, if your partner was having the biggest day of their life, why would you be phoning some radio show to put across extremely controversial comments?
No-one gets formally interviewed on the Nolan Show, he only speaks to who is available and willing to speak to the radio show.
Most of the time he can never get intouch with who he wants to speak to.
Maybe God did tell her to phone in, or whoever that vioce is in her head.
Either way, her absence in London and the News story she whipped up on the day would suggest that this was not merely a coincidence.
This is a controversial new advert from Air NZ I think it has just been banned as it caused offence. It was teamed with a competition for cougars to send in photos of nights out with their mates.
Anyways does the cougar kinda remind you of anyone?

We have been led to believe that Sewlyn Black exposed this whole thing because of his apparent morals.
I just noticed that Eamonn Mallie has put up this interesting comment on twitter, I dont know where the infromation is coming from yet..
" If Selwyn Black was not the original person to alert the BBC of allegations against the Robinsons who was? What was that person's motive? "
This will fuel speculation that behind the scenes figures or an organisation has exposed this dirt on a political party to suit the political agenda of the time.
Possibly to discredit the DUP who were blocking devolution.
But who done it?
Who stood to gain from this?
SF ,UUP/Tory, British government agencies?
