Opponents of the Provisional Sinn Féin “strategy” named as touts. Hmmm…..sure. Did the “Branch man” only write one letter or can I buy a few copies from the Sinn Féin online store?
I highly doubt that the contents of the letter are even remotely genuine. Perhaps, next time, they should consider tarnishing the names of people where it is at least plausible that the individuals concerned are informers.

Have Meehan and Catney been named anywhere since this story broke last Saturday morning? The Telegraph didn't elaborate on who the three nationalists might be so it would seem strange if these two came out to deny something without actually being linked to it.

The Telegraph did do everything but name a very, very senior south Belfast Loyalist who it claims has been an informer for over 15 years. That couldn't be the man who somehow rose to the top of an organisation filled with dozens of experienced killers despite having only ever been involved in collecting protection money and smuggling cigarettes?

Apparently there was a story in the Irish News today. Meehan reproduces the letter on his own blog

Harbinson is one of the loyalists mentioned in the letter.
