The case should be thrown out of court.
I agree . A number of forensic "experts" also turned out not to be experts at all when quizzed in court , and the labs for which they worked had lost their licenses . One claimed to have written a forensics report at the scene of an arms discovery when her passport proved she was actually in Zambia at the time . Thats Zambia..in Africa . More disturbingly it meant that the additional police reports which put her at the scene were lies too . She broke down crying in the dock . Police and forensics were liasing with the DPP before and during the trial in repeated attempts to change their stories and make the concocted evidence fit the jigsaw . The claim by another forensic voice analysis
expert that stated Sean Hoey had made the phonecalls changed under scrutiny to he might have made them , basically they dont know as they cant prove it .
Evidence that should never have been in court in the first place simpkly because it wasnt evidence , not even an informed opinion.
The DNA evidence was proven not only to have been contaminated , if not deliberately planted , but worthless anyway . Low trace DNA techniques are regarded as useless just about everywhere . The low trace technique also identified a 14 year old schoolboy in England as being the Omagh bomber . Comical .
Forensic exhibits disappeared and then re-appeared significantly altered . They werent even sealed in bags . It couldnt even be proven they were recovered at the scene . A number of items used as evidence against sean didnt show up on any photographs at scenes of events or on any police or forensics sheets at the time but just appeared years later in police evidence rooms with no chain of custody .
Sean Hoey was arrested on a number of occasions , the last time just weeks prior his Press spectacle of an arrest and basically told by the cops he was going to be done . Despite living just yards from the border he never fled anywhere or went on the run and maintained his innocence throughout . On the previous occasions he was arrested it took no more than a few cops and the usual military escort . When they decided to frame him for Omagh they assembled dozens of televison crews and almost 50 news reporters to overlook his home while they sent in about 200 troops , numerous helicopters and an armoured convoy of about 50 PSNI armoured vehicles . They even sent in the SAS and publicised the fact this normally secretive military outfit was there in an attemt to portray Sean as a highly dangerous individual .
In my opinion they set out to frame Sean because he fitted the ideal profile for a stitch up . He is a relative of Colm Murphy, from South Armagh and an electrician . Ideal material for throwing a cloud over a man . At the time they were telling the world Colm was the guilty man in the Omagh case . In reality his trial was a bigger stitch up than Seans , ESDA analysis proved the gardai had concocted the statements Colm was alleged by them to have made . Even more sinister facts and contradictions were thrown up in that case .
The Brits and Gardai are desperate to stitch people up in order to avoid a public enquiry into the Omagh bombing . As long as they can keep someone on trial , awaiting trial and on appeal they can avoid the scrutiny that is desperately needed to get to the truth of hat happened . Mr Rupert has a lot of questions to answer as regards that affair , as do the cops and intelligence services .
Interstingly Mr Rupert ,despite agreeing to testify in person against Michael McKevitt and by videolink in the impending civil case made sure he avoided the scrutiny of this case and Seans barrister . Had Seans barrister been allowed cross examine him the state would be in deep shyte over the entire Omagh massacre
