It seems to me that continued direct rule from London is a much better option for any Irish person who wants to see Ireland reunited. All the existance of Stormont will do is put a buffer between London and Irish resistance. In the end we will have former republicans, now Stormont MLAs helping the RUC/PSNI to crush native resistance - as they did in 1922 in the 26, and continue to do.
