    Griffins hard neck

    Was outside city all today,saw the list of candidates posted up .Iwas surprised to see Sean griffins occupation listed as ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYST.I remember Griffin working for Limerick City council as a REFUSE COLLECTOR in the 1970s.He has not worked at anything for a very long time and to describe himself as an environmental analyst is dishonest and misleading.He could have left the space beside occupation blank or put in retired as one would expect from a man in his 70s

    Perhaps, but it does not make him an "environmental analyst". It's like saying a petrol pump attendant is a fuel injection engineer!!

    The main point i was making is that Griffin does not have an occupation nor has he had one for more than 30 years.Given that he is in his seventies why did he not put down retired instead of telling lies about his current status.

    "environmental overseer" might have been slightly more accurate

    As a "refuse collector" he can be described as an "environmental technician".
    However, if he was involved in sorting refuse or bins then he could qualify for the title "analyst".

    There's only 3 reasons I can think of why one would be going thru refuse;

    1. Being a Litter Warden pursuing illegal dumping.
    2. Working in some recycling place on the line sorting out the non recyclable rubbish
    3. Simply being partial to rooting thru bins to see if anything was worth keeping

    1 and 2 might qualify for the environ. analyst title - not sure 3 would
