Cork North-West: the "poor child" of Cork Constitu

Am I right in thinking that Cork North-West is the "poor child" of Cork Constituencies? Is the fact that the Ballincollig area and hinterland now forming part of the Constituency for the next election going to have a positive or negative effect on the Constituency as a whole?
