Unbelievable scenes at Waterford Co Council Meeting

Apparently there was almost an outbreak of violence at the re-convened estimates meeting of Waterford Co Council in Dungarvan yesterday.

Did they get annoyed when they realised they are just a powerless rubber stamp?

Not sure why the SF councillor wanted a public apology for remarks that appear to have been made in private.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

Not defending FF's two-facedness or anything by were'nt FG voting for them while saying

"At one stage Fine Gael’s Cllr Tom Higgins accused Transport Minister Martin Cullen of “behaving like a fascist” by giving increased powers to council officials at the expense of the elected councillors when he was Environment Minister."
    &

"The proposal to adopt the estimates came from FG’s Cllr Paudie Coffey who said his party was supporting them because they contained so many positives. However, he stressed they were not supporting the controversial €150 refuse charge, which in reality is not part of the estimates."
If they're so against the charge and Cullen's behavior then (after what happened prior to the meeting) why not bring the council down:

Because bringing the Council down would give all the control to Cullen (well, at this stage Roche).
It's better to have the small bit of power that's decentralised to local Government then give it all back to the Department.

    Councillors and important powers left.

''Not sure why the SF councillor wanted a public apology for remarks that appear to have been made in private.''

That is SFs policy on any FFers who having seen the light and wish to join the only true Republican party Sinn Fein---they must publicly reject FF and all that partys lies and corruption.
The crown above the red hand is that of the O'Neill rulers of Ulster---not the Saxe-coborg gotha usurpers crown
