Peoples' Republic Of Cork - Why?

Not being from Cork myself I am wondering why Cork would want to be removed from the Republic of Ireland, What way are those Jackeens treating Cork that has it so annoyed?

They have some chip on there sholder because there not as good as us. They call themselfs the second capital and then get offended when you point out belfast is bigger. There town is to gray. makes them think wird. They know we know that accent is put on. They try to hard. they'll never be kerry and they'll never be dublin and they know it.

There would certainly be no objections from the rest of the country to their breaking away, so I dont see why they dont go for it.

I wouldn't push it too far - I think Cork could run Europe!

Could Cork legally form its own state?

    The record is not good.

    Lets look at the facts.

Michael Collins, sold Ireland down the river with the farmers treaty.

Jack Lynch, allowed Irish citizens to be butchered in the North and sold out his fellow ministers after.

Roy Keane, walked out on his Country over a personal issue, couldn't bare to put his Country first and himself second.

Sonia OSullivan. Refused to take the national flag at the European games in the mid ninties. Feinged illness when asked to wear the national kit at an olympics a few years ago.

    Not good is it.
