    Lord Mayor of Limerick

    Can anyone fill me in on what happened? The national media have completely ignored it

    FG and Labour in the pact.

    Labour where meant to have Lord Mayor this year, but couldn't decide on a candidate. So FG get it this year and Labour will take it next year instead

    So FG have a group meeting and select a candidate.

    The candidate that wasn't selected ended up becoming Lord Mayor!

    What happened?
    The word 'politics' is derived from the word 'poly', meaning 'many', and the word 'ticks', meaning 'blood sucking parasites
