Cllr. Michael Healy-Rae nailed for E3k by Tenancy Board

I see that the self-professed spokesman for the 'ordinary people' of Ireland Cllr. Michael Healy-Rae has been nailed for E3k compensation in relation to a house he rents out in Kilgarvan. The tenant took a case to the new Residential Tenancies Board against Cllr. Healy-Rae as he failed to carry out works necessary to bring the accommodation up to a minimum standard. Apparantly he send around a couple of guys to do a bit a painting a few days before the hearing but the Board hammered him regardless.

That was not very 'man of the people' was it?

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Amazing is the very little coverage it is receiving in Kerry.

you are right about the lack of coverage in kerry. typical of the media to give these gob************************es acres of coverage when they say something funny or irrelevant but when they cock up like this, not a word!
