    cllr cathal crowe bills us E13000

    during 07 08 cathal handed out leaflets for willie to approx 2000homes and billed us 13thousand were we over charged.[irish daily mail ]

    Why were we billed at all?

    If Willie wants to distribute leaflets to enhance his re-election prospects (and therefore enrich himself) then he should pay.

    Holy crap. €6.50 a leaflet and some people wonder why the Finance dept. was petrol bombed. It truly is amazing that every FF'er hasn't been tarred and feathered.

    yes he's a councillor from clare but he teaches (and lives i think) in parteen which is a village in clare but is only approx 1.5 miles from limerick city

    Was the contract put out to competitive tendering, this figure seems inordinately high, I think Fás would be cheaper than that!

    Seriously, any chance that this story could be expanded upon?

    Was there leaflets drop on behalf of FF, billed to a certain department? Thats a resigning matter for both Cllr and Minister, if so.
