    Good man, John.

Free parking in Dubin City Centre is an excellent idea.

Now all we need is an article on bringing back the plastic bag, and allowing barflys to drive home provided they have had no more than 6 pints.
A demagogue is someone who will preach doctrines he knows to be untrue to men he knows to be idiots.

    Perhaps she can try again.

I think the mistake he makes is that he doesn't distinguish between the powerful and the powerless. To forgive is divine but the children of the world are wiser than the children of the light and holding the powerful to account is essential to the future of this country. It's not about queue jumpers really.
Waters seems to have a problem with distinguishing between the trivial and the important - some years ago he wrote a column on how Irish society was going downhill because the warnings on the plaform to "PLEASE KEEP BEHIND THE YELLOW LINE" only had the last five words were resprayed.

Mind you that isn't the only problem he seems to have - he emotes so much it can be impossible to understand what he means.

That may partly explain why he's so negative about blogs - less problem for bloggers to criticise him.

You sure you're not reading too much into it?
I suspect his fans tend to do that.

No fan here, I also wrote at the outset he did not make his point well, or at all it seems - just pointing out what I got from the article.

My apologies - I meant to say that I didn't mean you were a fan but others were - no matter how I wrote it it came out clumsily phrased, so I left it out, hoping that it wouldn't be misread.
