Lenihan claims Prime Time broke moratorium tonight.

There are a couple of threads discussing news that broke on Prime Time tonight on the Moodys downgrade of Anglo Irish Bank.

That story has upset the Minister for Finance Brian Lenihan.

Tomorrow's Indo carries a report that he claims it breached the broadcasting moratorium in effect on the day before an election.

    ROFL, what a tool.

Hopefully by Monday the remnants of FF will be in a state of open civil war as they try to knife one another in the back to protect their own interests and futures.

It's time to purge this parasite class once and for all.

Thats the problem with 'moratoriums' , who defines whats political and what isnt ? I think we should just do away with it ,especially now in the age of the interweb.

Nonsense, Lenihan's is beyond clueness. He should be the first to be moved in the reshuffle.

It would have been much better to replace all news with cartoons

It would suit Lenihan to have a moratorium on all economic news for the rest of the year. This is just plain ridiculous.
