    Sarah Carey's Blue Tits

    (With apologies to the Two Ronnies).

    But honestly - with all that's going on politically and socially - why do the Irish Times allocate space to this:

    God, at a minimum we could have heard about local elections and planning in Co. Meath. How is is that Private Eye refer to these kind of columnists? Polly Filler?

    Carey's stuff always reads like a blog rather than journalism. Can't be bothered to read it any more.

    I'd like to see a few articles about councillors in Meath, what political philisophy they've read, role models, planning decisions, that sort of thing....
