George is picking his nose during the ad break!

Wonder if he knows the camera is even there?
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

I would have thought the fact that Newstalk read out the text messages of cranks like us would make all p.ie users Hooky listeners
Definitely has to be the Last Word... Matt rarely pulls his punches, regardless of who he has on. After him it'd be The Right Hook.
I couldn't tell you the last time I listened to Drivetime.

Some people see things as they are and ask why? I dream things that never were and ask why not?

I'd rate them Cooper, Hook with Wilson a very distant third.
The Last Word always has the potential to really make you turn up the dial.
Will never forget Jim Corr last year.
And he did some excellent Lisbon coverage
Hookie? The man refers to himself in the third person and always seems more concerned with his own opinion than anyone elses's? I listen to him for a laugh sometimes but you (or rather, I) can't take him seriously.
I'm going to reveal myself to be a Drivetime listener - I think Wilson is good and I like the contributors - esp Fergal Keane + David McCullough. The journo who does the weekly health slot is very good too - and has a nice radio voice.
I like Matt Cooper's show as well - especially his weekly US contributors. He's also very good on financial stuff and it's pretty ubiquitous at the moment. I don't like the website though. You can only listen to a podcast of the show in stages, two hour clips and one half hour, which is really annoying.
The Newstalk website is shocking.
I know but he's my kinda guy... Mate of mine was doing an impression of him during the Match on Saturday. Brilliant!
