My best guess is that the next opinion poll will show that he is right and you are wrong. The People a la 1987 will accept leadership in the national interest. He is now providing it.

I've never heard such a load of shyte, we want actions now words. Let the builders go bust, clean out the banks. Disband FF as it is an organisation that acts against the state.

National Disaster Plan [NDP] to be 'scaled down'

    Cowen on Marian

Cowen invested much of his own political capital in the plan. In his Indecon public policy lecture last November [2007], Cowen was emphatic: "I have made it clear time and again that my first priority is the delivery of the National Development Plan. Its implementation in full is central to our long-term economic prospects."

You want actions in a radio interview? But notwithstanding the above you are still a member of Fianna Fail. That puts the rest of your rant in perspective.

Such nonsense for him to try to use the economic crisis to get us to vote for Lisbon. Yes, Cowen, the Iceland issue does show the advantage of EU membership, but that has nothing to do with Lisbon. McCreevy let the cat out of the bag in admitting we can't be expelled from the EU. Despite the recession, his govt continue to hand out thousands of non-EEA work permits like there's no tomorrow, and the Charter would copperfasten the open-door policy on Ireland by giving the ECJ the final say on all matters of asylum and immigration. Article 15 of the Charter will force us to let illegals work, making it harder for the Irish to find work. The Galway tent may have been dissolved, but it's spirit lives on.

Given her regular unashamed public support for FF is it not interesting that he chose Marian for this public relations exercise. I would think it could have been a very different interview had it been Vincent Browne or George Hook asking the questions.

I want him to tell us the actions he is going to take and to stop talking rubbish about us all pulling together to sort out the mess that he and his builder friends created.

The only reason I am a member of FF is because I am working on destroying it from the inside. I will be giving a full report after the local elections.

When Cowen was asked about anglo all he could say was it had to be saved. He could not give one valid reason for it. More spin and bluff and spoof. Mara's hands are all over this and the dozy Paddy fools will lap up Cowens pseudo nationalism.

Mara was the man behind haughey, he was also behind ahern. Enough said.

Cowen v hook. More heat, less light . Cowen v browne. A little Less information, but far more shyte.
I also suspect marion has more listeners than the other two combined.
