    European Parliament Report

On RTE1 now. The guy in the pink shirt (Nigel Farage MEP) has some very interesting things to say. Articulate and not a bluffer; like so many guests on political programmes. On a completely different level to the pro-EU guy.

Topics are Credit Crisis and benefit, or not, of the Euro and EU Membership.

Here's an interesting quote from Nigel:

We've got three social democratic parties in Britain - Labour, Lib Dem and Conservative are virtually indistinguishable from each other on nearly all the main issues. You can't put a cigarette paper between them and that is why there are nine million people who don't vote now in general elections that did back in 1992.

Farage is great, always on the ball. His derisive laugh when he asked 'if it had been a yes, would there be another vote?' and Eoin Ryan said 'no', was fantastic...

I think this show was one of the positive outcomes of the first no vote to Nice.

Farrage is of course one of those English nationalist MEP's who celebrated the NO vote in the referendum last June in an Oirish pub in Brussels where he and his colleagues used the Tricolour as a beer towel.

Great allies you have in the UKIP, gentlemen.

    What pub was that?
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

Bertie Ahern who signed up to Lisbon on our behalf in the first place, and who presided over the negotiating of the Constitution, is a serial perjurer and conman who destroyed our economy by promoting a property pyramid to the benefit of the bent developers who funded his party, thus landing thousands in debt and misery because he put his rich mates ahead of the country. He might as well have p1ssed on the Tricolour.

Great allies you have at the Tribunals, gentleman.

Bertie may well be all those things and more, but you're the one who is a fan of the man who used the Tricolour as a beer rag.

You claimed that, "Farage is great, always on the ball." Was your new best friend "on the ball" when he treated our national flag in this offensive manner?

I don't see him in your picture, but either way, you know exactly what I meant, i.e. in debates on Lisbon and the EU, not that he is infallible and without sin. Don't be priggish.
