Genuine left wingers will always oppose attempts to form huge capitalist blocs that encourage exploitation especially when it attempts to build a military force to protect corporate interests. The right wing brits still live in the 19th century and can't adapt to post empire life. They want their own capitalist bloc. Afterall they won the war. The neo-cons like Ganley feel their interests would be better served through strong connections with US capitalism rather than EU capitalism. The left have never hid their utter contempt for the like of libertas and UKIP. It's ironic we are both campaigning for a no vote but we are certainly not on the same side.

Exactly, you'd swear only Sarah Carey knows what's best for Ireland while everyone else in the media has vested interests.

That's what a columnist does. You don't have to believe everything that is printed.

The usual stuff then. The Sunday Times is the reason that the Irish Times never launched a Sunday version.

And you bothered to reply to it? It must be some kind of communist humour or doesn't the Party do humour?

I must fill out a laughter form and send it to the politburo and then they get back to me 2 weeks later telling me what is the collectives approach to your non humour.

And the Party approved humour will be something like this: "How many capitalists does it take to screw an economy?"
