Apprentice- Is That Joanne one For Real???

Can't get over that Joanne Murphy on the Apprentice...I wonder is she some kind of joke thats been put in there for laughs? She looks positively deranged and that fixed maniacal smile as she is being grilled by Bill Cullen is positively scary. She is clearly out of touch with reality, claiming last night that she had in fact sold 3 cars when she only sold 2 in reality, a 'mistake' she repeated twice..I know that by definition all the competitors are in some way barking to want to be on it, but she is surely the most barking self obsessed ( slightly over aged) Celtic Tiger spawn I have ever encountered, are there REALLY people out there like that?? I really hope there are'nt too many...I personally cant wait for the moment that she is given the boot...Am I the only one who finds her having a powerful emetic effect...I think that other competitor...the lank D4 head who called her 'wagon face' one week for once showed extraordinary perceptiveness when he said that...

I am catching up on this - a great bit of entertainment so far. Shame that Mark guy went last night but he virtually asked Bill to "barm brack" him.

I agree on your comments about Joanne but I think Bill has a brief to keep her there for a while yet because shs is entertainment. A complete conrol freak...would not let her anywhere near my business...or my family for that matter. And that smile, definitely could be improved by a balaclava!

Personally I think Paddy from Cork will win it.

As for Joanna, she wrecks my head but she is good telly.

I have been steering clear of it, as I felt it would be pure ****. But I might have a look, just to see what type of self obsessed muppets are on the show.

Exactly, pure entertainment value. During the run up to the show Bill Cullen, in an interview, said he'd like to make it more "Irish" and use terms like "you're barm bracked" or "you're Donald Ducked" but no sign of that yet.

Most entertainment so far was Joanne going toe to toe with Cullen trying to convince him she had the "liathroidis" for the job - the funny thing was, it would not surprise me if she did!

It is interesting to see the format Irish style, its more of a comedy than anything else and an insight into how clueless we all can be put in these situations - almost as cringeworthy as "The Office!"

That Joanna is a right b1tch. She would back stab anyone in her quest to win. I sincerely hope she goes soon. If she wins them Cullen will go way down in my estimations.

And is not good in many business critical situations....not a good presenter, not good on pricing, marketing....just funny!

As a boss, if I had a truculent workforce she'd be an ideal 2nd in command. A real ball breaker to be wheeled out rottweiler like when someone got a bit uppity.

She doesn't faze me. I bet I could reduce her to tears in about 5 minutes.
