    Village magazine has ceased publication and Vincent Browne says he has taken a severe financial hit. Three people have lost their jobs.

    It really only shows that there is no market for a magazine on Irish politics out there. To most, politics is a snoozefest at the best of times. No glossy magazine could survive on a market base of anoraks like us.

    I had a letter published in it once! Didnt buy it much though . It was like 'the slate ' without jokes .

    Yeah, I got bored of it after the Charlie Haughey lovefest after the squire kicked the bucket. Bit odd for a supposed leftist party to be praising Haughey.
