Sounds trivial but it really annoys me

By "blurb" I mean that when you press the "i" on a SkyDigital remote while going through the TVguide you get a small description of the programme. For example, if you press it for Friday Johnathan Ross it might say "Tonight, Cherie Blair". However for Q&A or Saturday with Miriam it just says a generic "topical discussion with a panel of guests".

I would have watched Enda on Miriam last week if SkyDigital had told me he was on. I would watch more Q&A if I could see in advance who is on. (as a business model RTE want people to watch their programmes obviously).

If anything has to be cut in this recession, I recommend RTE funding. Their staff is bloated and the salaries at the top are scandalous (Joe Duffy 600k?) (yet underpublicised for obvious reasons). The notion we need a state information agency in 2008 is ridiculous, particularly one that underperforms to the point they don't bother to announce guests to create interest among the viewing public
