Congratulations to Grainne Cunningham for such a wonderful article and of course to the Editor for publishing it. I feel a warm glow of admiration for the wonderful Sir Anthony

When Denis O'Brien takes it over he will be far more down to earth and won't allow himself to be pictured. Take for example the coverage of his performances at the Moriarity tribunal. He is too humble to have his tribunal mentioned on Newstalk or Today FM and instead dedicates 2-3 hours a day to Bertie at the Mahon Tribunal. When Denis takes over INM he will most likely sent a minnion like Enda Kenny to be pictured giving out the degrees to world statesmen.
Hmmmm, interesting take alright. I have no views either way on the O'Reilly v O'Brien nonsense but I do find the increasingly regular bouts of O'Reilly-worshipping sycophancy in the Indo to be quite amusing. From what little I know about O'Reilly, I'd be surprised if he'd be impressed by such guff.
he'd sack the lot of em and replace them with clone slaves grown from his own pubic hair if he thought the technology existed !Originally Posted by enby07

in regards to the OP. mother of god thats one bit of shamless self promotion, how do these "journalists" sleep at night? whores have more integrity .
I seem to recall a few years ago seeing a book or a magazine dedicated to the glorification of O'Reilly, it was definitely an Independent publication. It featured a picture of the two Knights of the British Realm, Sir Anthony O'Reilly and Robert Mugabe in conversation at his holiday home in West Cork.
I wonder did anyone else see such a picture....
Robert Mugabe has a holiday home in West Cork?
Tony O'Reilly summers, when he isn't in tax exile, in Glandore.
Half-expected it to read:The chief executive of INM said it was an honour to give the award to such an 'exceptional human being'
The former South African president said it was an honour to receive the award from such an 'exceptional human being'
