    Bill Tormey demolishes Joan Collins.

Speaking to people who were at last mondays Dublin City Council meeting it appears that councillor Collins had a motion in condeming some pylons that were in her constituency, unfortunately for Joan the motin was pushed up the agenda and the issue was debated between mainly herself and councillor Tormey,as Joan wasent expecting a debate she had brought no notes with her and as Dr Bill got stuck into her with his own facts about radiation she was left floundering as the rest of the council erupted in laughter. Lesson to be learnt here dont go into a meeting without doing your ecker and does this show Joan up as a one trick pony ie the bin charges.

She's cut from the same cloth as Cllr Mick Murphy in Tallaght. He's often proven himself inept at reading maps and diagrams and getting his facts badly wrong on both planning matters and the local children's hospital. He often gets up and trys to talk like an expert before making a total ass of himself

The bins charges fitted into their neat little Leninist formula for a campaign. It is painful to watch them grab various issues off the shelf with scant attention to the facts and see if they'll fly and drop them like a hot potato. They're always looking for a silver bullet to turn them into a Messiah - painful!

    One trick ponies indeed
