Ehhhh come here to me, minister!

Eamon Keane uuurgghh what is he like, so I was listening to the repeat of his interview with Noel Dempsey last night, and he's such a suck up, he keeps making jokes about him having chats O'Dea which allows Dempsey to barely answer the question and joke it off to without saying what they still disagreed over. And then he says 'ehh come here to me minister'.... Ugh, ya don't say that in a radio interview??? Now somebody mentioned people who when interviewing politicians put on a hard tone but don't ask the hard questions, which is worse but he often gets ministers on his lunch time show but he way too nice to them, okay thanking someone for their time is just polite but I have heard he interviewing mary harney and he grovels.
What does the Irish President spend their time doing. Work in progress

I completely agree. I can't stomach it anymore. Newstalk can do much better

It could be worse. It could be that woman who 'presents' Drivetime. She is back now from her hols and is as bad as ever, talking over guests, preventing them from finishing a sentence by starting her next sentence before they have finished. She is appalling.

There are two types of radio presenters: DJs and those who want to be DJs. I can't say that I like either type. I wonder if that habit of talking over guests is a legacy of the DJ past of these people in talking over good music as if we cared what these intellectual pygmies thought of good music anyway.
